Wendy Durell offers consultancy to schools, parents and Arts Therapists.  She also runs a therapy supervision practice.  

Wendy was the first Art Therapist to participate in the CAST training course, recognised by the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth).  She gained the Creative Arts Supervision Training Diploma in 2010.

Wendy is an experienced therapist who has worked with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings.

In her twenty years as a teacher she developed successful Writers’ Workshop projects in different authorities, and she has more than ten years’ experience of working with children and young people with learning and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties.  Wendy has provided individual and group Art Therapy sessions in mainstream and special schools in Harrow, Hertfordshire and Hillingdon. She has worked with primary and secondary pupils and their parents. For six years Wendy was the co-ordinator of ATE (Art Therapists in Education.) ATE is a sub-group of The British Association of Art Therapists.

In 2015 Wendy attained a Diploma in Group Work Practice from the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA) and she also achieved Group Work Practitioner status.
